These new Ansmann Powerline 4 Traveler battery chargers offer the same features as the original Powerline 4 charger.

They also come with a set of four snap-in, snap-out wall plug adapters to mate with the different plugs travelers find throughout the world.

We recommend both of these chargers to anyone who regularly travels between locations with 120V and 240V current and 60 and 50 cycles.

These are smart chargers. Just plug them in anywhere with voltage between 90 and 260 Volts and cycle frequency between 47 and 63 Hz and they will automatically detect the voltage and correctly charge the cells.

The Powerline 4 Traveler will charge 2200 mAh NiMh AA cells in a little over four hours. In addition the Powerline 4 Traveler also has a discharge button for NiCd cells which will prevent the "memory" effect by discharging the NiCd cells down to the proper point before automatically beginning the charge cycle. Each cell charges independently in its own bay and each bay has a charging progress LED. The LED will also indicate a faulty cell at the beginning of the charge cycle. When a cell has reached its charge capacity the cell's charging bay switches to a trickle charge. They weigh only weigh eight ounces and come with a two year guarantee.

The Ansmann Energy 8 battery charger is a compact tabletop battery charger that will charge six AA batteries, or four C or D cell NiMh, or NiCd cells, or a mix of types and sizes of these cells. It also has two dedicated 9V charging bays.

It is a universal voltage, negative delta-V battery charger that individually charges each cell independently, automatically discharges the cells before the charge cycle begins, detects defective cells, signals when each cell is charged and continues to maintain a trickle charge.

Each charging bay has an LED that monitors the charging progress of the cell in that bay. Even multiple types and sizes of cells can be charged simultaneously with the Energy 8.

The Ansmann Energy 8 measures 7.8"x8"x2.76" (198x203x70mm) and weighs only weigh 25.05 ounces (710 grams) and come with a three year warranty.

This great little Digital Media Box holds two media cards of any of five kinds of digital media: Compact Flash, Smart Media, Memory Stick, Secure Digital, and X-Digital. The case is lined with a soft plastic liner that securely holds the media cards in and when it is latched it is water resistant.
